ABOUT

 Since I'm a medical student (and a mom), I mostly talk in medical talk (or baby talk), and I deal with pretty serious issues that are important to me and that have a big impact on my patients. I started this blog as a creative outlet for some of my interests outside of my day job. Nevertheless, I enjoy art, pretty things, good photography, caring for babies, traveling, and laughing. My biggest goal in life is just to live it, to enjoy every moment, and to find beauty in everything, despite the path I've chosen that takes long hours and dedication. All the rough edges get a shiny topcoat of lacquer, so I walk around with a little bit of lacquer.

Throughout this blogging journey, I have learned that many of you are like me (never think you're the only one!) - passionate about science, interested in helping people, and interested in things outside of medicine. By showing you that these can fit, that you can do it, and by providing help along the way, I hope this blog can also be a place to show you that these can work. I hope that my tips and stories will inspire a few of you to dream bigger and achieve your dreams.
